When travelling on the A38 from Plymouth, your sat nav will want to take you down some very narrow lanes! The easiest way is to keep on the A38, by passing Dobwalls, when you will come to a roundabout. Straight on is sign posted Bodmin, but you want the second exit, marked A390 St Austell. You will then take the 3rd turning on the left, signposted for Herodsfoot& St Pinnock. Caradon Cottages are on this corner.You travel down this road, past a converted chapel, ignore the signpost to St Pinnock, pass Connon Chapel and then take the next left. This is a staggered junction and you want the road marked Scawns. Boturnell Farm is then the first turning on your right.
